Become A Volunteer at Esmond Station K-8 School

One person can make a great deal of difference!


We are so grateful that you are interested in volunteering this year.  There are numerous ways for you to get involved.  Some volunteer opportunities are:

CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES:

  • Reading Heroes

  • Grade papers

  • Assist teachers with projects

  • Small group work

  • Chaperone field trips

  • Help with Celebrations

  • Field day

  • Hack a thon

SCHOOL ACTIVITIES:

  • Reshelve books in the library

  • After School Activities

  • Book Fair - Fall and Spring

  • Science Fair

  • Health Aide Screening

  • Picture Day - Fall and Spring

  • Middle school athletics


    Every Calendar school year, all returning volunteers need to update their application and sign a new affidavit.

    • Update your email, address, phone number

    • Update school, etc you would like to volunteer

    • Update your child’s grade, and school attending

    • Update your emergency contact information

  • All volunteers: Please complete your online volunteer application at https://jobs.redroverk12.com/org/2111  or scan the QR Code and it will take you directly to the website. 

  • This is a job/volunteer application in one, please skip through the parts that don’t apply to volunteering. When prompted to select your school of choice, you’ll need to click through the employment opportunities until the last section for “Volunteers” and select your school of choice. Volunteering at least once throughout the year and renewing your application every school year will ensure that you will not need to repeat steps 2-3.  

  • Please take note of your username and password as you will need to renew your application annually. Click Submit. 

  • Fingerprints are required to become a volunteer, unless you are a parent/legal guardian of a current student at ESS. Arizona state law requires anyone other than a parent/legal guardian such as a grandparent or community member to be fingerprinted in order to volunteer on campus.  Please stop by the front office to get your fingerprint packet. Please get fingerprinted ASAP! This process can take up to eight weeks to complete and be cleared. 

  • Once you have completed and submitted your online application, you will receive an electronic AFFIDAVIT. Please complete the affidavit and return it electronically as soon as you possibly can.
