Hello Esmond Station Families! My name is Lindsey Anderson and I have had the pleasure of teaching in the Vail School District for 14 years! I have my dual degree in elementary and special education from Northern Arizona University, and have taught in a variety of areas over these last 14 years! I have experience in kindergarten, 1st grade, special education, and for the last 4 years, third grade! Teaching is my passion and I love getting the opportunity to build a family environment each year with my students and watch them grow and succeed! A quote I truly love to live by in the classroom is from the famous Benjamin Franklin, “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn”. I believe in meeting the unique needs of every student and building a lasting and respectful relationship with each and every one of them. I feel truly blessed to be part of the Esmond Station family and having the opportunity to work with such wonderful kids!
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my two amazing girls, Chloe and Brynlee. Chloe is 8 and Brynlee is 6, and both enjoy attending Esmond Station! When I’m not spending time with my kids I love working out, reading, and taking care of my 3 dogs and 2 guinea pigs! I also enjoy traveling, and have to admit that Disneyland is probably my favorite place to visit! I can’t wait to get back to the classroom and continue to work with the amazing students and family of Esmond Station!
