Hello! I am excited to start my fourth year as one of the special education teachers here at Esmond Station! I was born and raised in Chicago and moved to Tucson during my junior year of high school, where I finished school at Vail Academy. Special education has a unique place in my heart as I spent most of my senior year of high school volunteering at Acacia Elementary, interning with their special education team. I haven’t left Vail since. All through college, I worked as a special needs paraprofessional gaining more respect and insight for the teachers, students, and parents of the Vail School District. I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Mild-Moderate Special Education from the University of Arizona in 2017.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy running, yoga and wandering the aisles of Target. I enjoy working with various grades, teachers, students, and families at Esmond. Those connections are what make Esmond such a great place to teach! I am grateful to be part of the Esmond family!
