Jason Schlauderaff

Hello Esmond Station families. My name is Jason Schlauderaff and I am going to be the Technology Specialist teacher. I am so excited about the opportunity to expose students to all the different tools that they will use not only in the classroom but also just as important outside of the classroom. We will be covering areas such as typing, google drive, and other great tools.

This will be my 5th year teaching in Vail. I started out as a PE/Health teacher at Pantano High School. After my year there I moved to Esmond Station where I spent two years as a third-grade teacher, and one year as a fifth-grade teacher. Prior to my teaching career, I spent 20 years in the Air Force. and retired in June of 2015. During my time in the Air Force, I had the privilege of being an Aircrew Loadmaster. My time in the Air Force allowed me to see 50+ countries on six different continents. Some of them were awesome. My favorite places to go were Germany, Australia and South Africa.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy being with my family of two boys, who also attend Esmond and my beautiful wife of 14 years. Most nights we can be found at the ballpark or the soccer pitch. If I am not coaching my boy’s sports I can be found in front of my TV watching it, or going to game in Phoenix. I love the D-Backs, Broncos, and Nuggets.

I am so excited to be part of your child’s education and lives!
